Appointments

You can book online through our Square booking page (modenailbar.com/book), by phone, or walk in when we have an opening. A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation from Square or from us.

Please arrive a few minutes early. If you are running late, call us at (213) 799-6688. We may need to shorten your service or move you to a later time, so that other clients are not kept waiting.

If you need to change or cancel, please let us know as early as you can, ideally 24 hours ahead, through your Square confirmation or by phone, so we can offer the time to someone else.

Prices and payment

Prices on our menu are starting prices in US dollars. The final price depends on nail length, design, add-ons and the condition of your nails. Your technician will tell you before starting anything that costs more.

Prices may change; the price at the time of your service applies. Payment is due when your service is finished. Tips are appreciated, never required.

Promotions, gift cards and MODE Rewards

• Promotions and coupons are one per client per visit and can't be combined with other offers unless they say so. They have no cash value and end on the date shown.
• Gift cards are sold and managed through Square. We honor them as California law requires.
• MODE Rewards points are earned and redeemed through Square Loyalty. We may change the program's rewards and rules, and will post any change at the salon or online.

Your health and safety

Before your service, tell your technician about any allergies (for example to gel or acrylic products), medical conditions, medications, pregnancy, or skin or nail problems. We may decline or adjust a service if we believe it could harm you, or if there are signs of infection.

We clean and disinfect our tools and stations as the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology requires. Nail services carry small risks, such as irritation or an allergic reaction. If you notice redness, swelling or pain after a visit, contact us and, if needed, a doctor.

If something isn't right

If you are not happy with your service, let us know as soon as you can, and we will look at it and do our best to make it right. How long a manicure or pedicure lasts depends on your nails and daily activities, so we can't guarantee it.

At the salon

• Children's services need a parent or guardian present, and children should be supervised at all times.
• We are not responsible for personal items left at the salon.
• We may refuse service to anyone who is abusive to our team or other clients.
• With your permission, we may photograph your nails to share on our website and social media. We won't post your face or name without asking.

Messages and automated assistants

We answer questions through Google, Instagram, Yelp, text and email, sometimes with the help of an automated assistant, such as the Gemini assistant on our Google Business Profile. Those answers are for convenience. Prices, availability and bookings are confirmed only by your Square booking confirmation or by our team.

Our website

The text, photos and designs on modenailbar.com belong to Mode Nail Bar or are used with permission; please don't copy them without asking. Our site links to services run by others, such as Square, Instagram and Google, which have their own terms.

We keep the site's information accurate, but menus, prices, hours and promotions can change, and the salon's current information applies.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, Mode Nail Bar is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim about a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under California law that can't be waived.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of California. We may update them; the date at the top shows when they last changed.
